Terms of Use

Last updated 23 October 2026

Seed to Swan (seedtoswan.com) is a set of animated lessons about coffee: the coffee tree, green coffee, roasting, espresso, V60, milk steaming and latte art. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Using the lessons

The lessons are for learning and personal practice. You may use them freely for yourself. Don't copy, resell or republish the drawings, animations or texts as your own without written permission.

Your account

An account is optional. Every studio works without one.
Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time.
We may close accounts that abuse the site, for example by trying to break it or by using it to harm others.

Safety at the machine

Coffee machines, steam wands, kettles and roasters are hot and under pressure. The lessons show general methods; follow your machine's manual and take care. We're not responsible for injuries, damaged equipment or wasted coffee from following the lessons.

No guarantees

We work hard to make the lessons correct, but coffee varies and we can make mistakes. The site is provided "as is", and we may change, pause or stop any part of it.

Paid plans

Everything is free for now. If paid plans are added later, their prices and terms will be shown before anyone pays.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
